RACISM:

Racism means "racial prejudice or discrimination." Racism is wrong and should not be a part of a Christian's life. Here is why:

There is a very simple answer to this question. It can be summed up in one verse.

Matthew 22:36-40/ " 'Teacher, what is the most important commandment in the Law?' Jesus answered: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. This is the first and most important commandment. The second most important commandment is like this one. And it is, 'Love others as much as you love yourself.' All the Law of Moses and the Books of the Prophets are based on these two commandments."

Racism does not show love to others. You should love others as yourself. When you discriminate other people whether they are your nationality or not, you are not loving them as you would yourself. You certainly wouldn't discriminate yourself, if you are in your right mind.

If someone is ugly, or fat, or odd it still does not give you the right to make fun of them. You should have compassion for them, and show them love as you would yourself, as Jesus showed you love. God does not want you to murder, cheat, or steal from others. If we loved others then we would never do that to them. So, as Matthew 22:39 says, "Love others as much as you love yourself."
