2/24/03-At last...the lyrics are done and have been posted. Lets thank J. Edgar Zaius for getting these fantastic lyrics up. It will be only a matter of time. The Overlord will emerge...

5/9/03-Monkey Overlord has been on a severe break in order to prepare. Since February, J. Edgar Zaius has left the band to pursue other options in life. We all wish him very well and the best of luck. The members of the band have been doing a lot of soul-searching, reworking songs and lyrics to completely prepare for the emergence of The Monkey Overlord. Hopefully by the summer, they will be ready to show the world what they've got (or don't got). The music is coming into its own, fusing rock, synth pop, and funk. The lyrics left behind by J. Edgar will be reworked or redone. Times have been crazy as of late. We thank all of you for your patience and urge you to keep in contact. The band will try to get some music up ASAP.

5/14/03-No major news about MO today, but if you are in the New Jersey area on Friday May 16th, check out MO's good friends Moms on Welfare at Krome on Route 35 in South Amboy. This is their first show since last July when the cops were called to stop them from playing! These guys are really vulgar, loud, and amazing!
