'Shacking Up' With Fran Drescher

Everybody's favorite nanny is back and ready to move into a new primetime house after a five-year hiatus from TV. That's right, Fran Drescher has returned, and she gave us an exclusive tour of the set of her new series, set to debut in January on The WB.

Our first stop, the kitchen: "It's where I don't really cook and I don't really clean," Fran joked.

But speaking seriously, Fran told us she's now got a clean bill of health from her serious battle with uterine cancer four years ago. "I always tell people I'm not glad I got cancer and I don't wish it on anyone," Fran reflected. "But I am better for it."

She's certainly looking hotter than ever, as she gets set to star in "Shacking Up," the sexy new sitcom executive-produced by funny man Jamie Kennedy -- who agreed with our appraisal: "Yeah, she's looking damn smokin'!"

As well as producing, Jamie will also make some hilarious cameo appearances in the series, in which Fran plays a divorced mother of two who's "shacking up" with a guy the same age as her 25-year-old son. "I get to go into the bedroom with the boyfriend all the time, and he's delicious and a great kisser," bragged Fran -- and no wonder, since "the boyfriend" is played by former "Passions" hunk Ryan McPartlin.

"We have just the best time and the best chemistry together," Ryan said of Fran.

The older woman-younger man scenario is nothing new to Drescher, who revealed, "I was in a very serious relationship for four years with a guy who was much younger than me."

But she admitted that playing the older woman on TV is a different story: "I've got to stay thin, I've got to look good. You know, you can't let yourself go when you're acting with twenty-five-year olds."

Watch Fran prove age is only a number beginning in January on The WB.
Note: Fran's new show has been retitled, "Living With Fran" and the premiere date has been pushed to March.
