Li Wu-Long Xin | ||||||||||||||||

Li Wu-Long Xin was born a typical commoner to a poor laboring family. He was brought up in ancient China at the time of the Qing dynasty (approximately 200 AD). At a young age he was selected and taken from his family to be one of the new emperor’s close servants. He was trained intensely for many years thereafter in many forms of armed and unarmed combat. Although he was trained mainly as a guard to the young emperor Qing, he was also trained to a high degree of skill in the arts of assassination and schooled to speak a variety of Earth languages including old English that they may aid him in any missions he would partake in for his emperor. When Li had just managed to slip past the border of manhood China fell under attack from one of its bordering nations, now more commonly referred to as Mongolia, Li was instructed to the front line to fight. The location at which Li and his companion soldiers were engaged at, was the same point in space-time as a ritual circle known to have been hit when the great Cataclysm took place in the parallel dimension of Erdreja. When the ritual circle shattered in Erdreja it caused a fissure in space- time creating a temporary link from Li’s dimension of Earth to the world of Erdreja. Many of the soldiers who were fighting at that point on the battlefield were sucked through the temporary link to Erdreja. The soldiers did not however journey straight from earth to Erdreja. They were transported to a transition state-like void between the two dimensions. Aeons passed as they stayed frozen in a type of suspended animation in the emptiness, the singularity of nothing and yet everything between the two dimensions. This is not known though as to them it seemed that they were instantly teleported from one dimension to the other. It is apparent; some divine force allowed the soldiers a chance to be thrown into the next dimension. Why is anyone’s guess? It could have been an act of kindness from a so called “good” Deity. Or an act of experimentation by the deity to see how high up you can drop a human from the sky and they still survive Many that were thrown through the portal in the sky to Erdreja were killed in the process and even more suffered bad wounds and mutilations to their frail mortal bodies. Members of the Order of Nemesis within the Lions faction were present for the shower of Asians that fell from the heavens. They tended to the injuries of what soldiers they could. Many could not be saved as parts of their bodies were severed when the link closed and they were rather unlucky, only partially through. Li however was fortunate enough to survive through in one piece with a fractured arm, broken legs and a concussion only usually experienced when ingesting too much cheap rice wine. Of the Chinese and Mongolian soldiers that survived most made homes in the Lions territory preferring to lay down their weapons and leave their warrior lives for a life of (relative) peace in Erdreja. Li however felt that he needed to repay the Order of Nemesis, so now acts as the spokesperson on behalf of the Chinese and Mongolian folk, crusading with the Order of Nemesis and the Lions faction, a dedicated part of their cause and faith. |
