Enhancement
Inc.
The Swan Valley Sport
Fishing Enhancement Inc. is composed of a concerned group of men
and women, who volunteer their time freely to enhance fishing conditions
for Sports Fishing in the area. SVSF
have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars which is directly poured back
into the fisheries of the Duck and Porcupine Areas.
Activities and Involvement
The Sport Fishing Enhancement has been involved in:

Conducting Seminars for Children and Adults

Building Docks and Structures for People to Fish at Two Mile Lake, Glad
Lake, Perch Lake, Verrall Lake, Vinnie Lake

Operating a Walleye rearing pond at Loat Lake (adjacent to Wellman Lake)
-
Purchasing and Stocking Lakes with Trout and Other Species
-
Building Walleye Spawning Reefs
-
Contributed Freely to Educate Children about Fishing and Conservation
in this Province

Working with Native Organizations to Sponsor Fishing Camps for Native
Children
-
Building Water Control Structures to stabilize lake levels.

Providing Funds to take School Children Fishing
-
Co-Sponsoring Fishing Tournaments
-
Working Hand in Hand with the Manitoba Conservation
