Balance
Balance is not a topic that gets a lot of space or "airtime". I'm not sure why, possibly for two reasons. One, it is always assumed that the seeker is aware of it or, Two, that it is seen as being not the most positive of states to be in as it is viewed as being Static in some way and implies a lack of forward motion.
Think for a moment about this. A car mechanic tunes/balances a car engine repeatedly to get optimum performance, an athlete has to go through the same process mentally and physically, an island untouched by humans is a perfectly balanced ecosystem but continues to flourish, grow and evolve! Balance is Good!
Balance is having the understanding that allows us to accept whatever Life throws at us, be it perceived as Positive or Negative and learn and take something positive from it.
Balance accompanies Oneness all along our Path and is one of the life tools that assist us on our way rather than being something that keeps us in limbo and inhibits our progress. We all go through peaks and troughs in life and the sad reality is that most of us only feel balanced when things are going well. When things are going wrong we generally feel that we want to move on and progress beyond how we are feeling at that time, the irony being that this is when we need Balance the most, just when we think we don't!
To maintain Balance on a daily basis there are a few tips I would like to pass on.
1. Accept that there is no Good or Bad, only what You
perceive to be  Good or Bad.
2. Trust that whatever is happening is happening just as you planned  it.
3. Acknowledge that you are where you are supposed to be, regardless of how you presently feel.
4. Go with the Flow! Enjoy the Life Experience!

So, how do we regain Balance when we need it, when things are going wrong
?
It is perfectly reasonable to assume that someone reading this page is experiencing a "trough" of some kind, if so, this is for you exclusively!

Try to stand back from things for a moment. Close your eyes, concentrate on your breathing, breathe in, hold it, as you breathe out, clear your mind. Relax. Breathe in, hold it, as you breathe out, relax, smile. Keep your eyes closed and repeat about ten times, concentrating on your breathing, relaxing and smiling. Feel the tension leaving your body, visualize the tension leaving your body and experience feeling relaxed and Light. Before you open your eyes, remember the lightness you are feeling and bring it forward with you when you open your eyes once more. Feel any better? Now, look at your situation from an
Observer point of view, can you help this person with a solution? What would you advise? You would? Good! Listen to yourself! You are the One with all the answers.
