Led Zeppelin - Hey Hey What Can I Do Only available through the ten CD boxset, a damn, damn good track, definatly should be heard more. Izzy Stadlin' & The Ju Ju Hounds - Shuffle It All Pretty interesting to hear what he's up to, over ten years after he quit GNR. Sounds like Springsteen. Drivin' N' Cryin'- Honeysuckle Blue I first heard it on that Courtney Love thing on MTV. Fits somewhere between AC/DC and Hootie & The Blowfish, i strongly recomend downloading this. Black Sabbath - Time Machine If you haven't got Wayne's World OST, then this should be downloaded. Fucking brilliant. Metallica - Hero Of The Day Since we're downloading music here, you just gotta include Metallica. The Violent Femmes - Blister In The Sun Incredible 80s alternative folk rock thing. The rest of their stuff ain't worth the time. Randy Newman - Political Science Genius. One of the best songs by one of the best singer/songwriters of all time . This is what humour in music is all about. Fuck Tenacious D. They're not funny. Ben Folds Five - Brick Never understood this band, or Ben himself, but nevertheless, this came out of nowhere and kicked everyone in the ass (you may recognise it). Had a perfect video too. Pearl Jam - Yellow Ledbetter Possibly the best B-Side ever recorded. One of the tracks that didn't make it onto Ten, inspired by Hendrix's Little Wing, but with much heavier subject matter. This is Pearl Jam at (almost) their best. U2 - Hold Me, Thill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me Everyone knows this song, but has completely forgotten about it. Elevation had noting on this. Crash Test Dummies - Afternoons & Coffeespoons - SwimmingIn Your Ocean - MMM MMM MMM MMM The trilogy of songs that made God Shuffled His Feet. All brilliant, they simply don't make music like this anymore. |
I'm all for file sharing (I recommend Kazaa Lite), so here's a list of songs that should be heard, especially for those who mis-use their broadband connection for playing retarded computer games. The ones in RED, I stongly recommend. |
