RAVES & RANTS
.
SFX Magazine. Used to be my favourite magazine. Is now the most fickle, arrogant collection of priggish, psuedo-intellectual journalism known to man. I'll give you Buffy up the ass.
The Osbournes, Jackass and Punk'd. Occasionally hilarious, otherwise total televisual excrement.
Watching the movie Lucas knowing what became of Corey Haim.
VH1 for becoming an MTV clone. What happened to the class?
Mike Myers. Love the guy, but apparantly Wayne's World isn't important to him, but its okay. cause Austin Powers 3 definatly is...
The US' educational system. And it's shaping the future leaders of the world.
Rolling Stone magazine. Total trash, only good for the covers.
Taunton's Fucking College. The exams, the teachers, the status quo, the building, the grounds, the facilities.
Nickelodeon for showing Pete & Pete for the first time in 5 years.
Bruce Springsteen's The Rising. His post 9/11 album... is clearly still the boss.
Pearl Jam: Unplugged.
One word....
Porch
VH1 for making the best music docs, Top 100, VH1 presents the 80s and ofcourse Behind The Music.
Empire magazine. Currently my favourite magazine. From cover to cover.
Classic Rock magazine. Great articles and incredible photos. Shame about the reviews section.
Futurama. Especially the current, final season.
Cristina Angilera.
Terminator 3. No Eddie Furlong, No Linda Hamilton, No James Cameron. No Way.
Heat Waves in the UK:
'
It's a frightening thing when (for those three days every year) the British sun pops out from behind its perpetual shroud of greyish clouds to bathe us all in life-affirming rays. One and all the British public drop whatever they're doing (work, crime, babies), whip half their clothes off and proceed to lie down on the nearest available patch of grass - wheresoever that may be.' -  Empire Online
John Wrathall/Sight And Sound's review of Almost Famous; Fatuous psuedo-blubber.
