EAGLE "WALKS AS A TURKEY"

AN EAGLE
In Gen2:19, Man has given names to each of the LORD'S creatures, one of HIS creatures, he called an Eagle. It is one of HIS most exciting creations! It goes through many cycles that resembles us, as we walk in our Christian lives.

DURING IT'S LIFETIME-"GREAT DEPRESSION"
During an eagle's lifetime, he will go through a "molting" process that will bring great depression. This is a wilderness time that all eagles will face.

Eagles live for many years but then they begin to lose their feathers, beak and talons (claws). They will scratch their talons down to the nubs and knock their beak off to rid themselves of the "calcium deposit build up," after they have pulled out all their feathers.

WALKING LIKE A "TURKEY"
During this time, the eagle will walk like a turkey. He has no strength to fly. It becomes completely vulnerable and many eagles die at this point. At this time they will choose some area of a mountain where the sun can shine directly on them.

And with their wings spread, they will lay on a rock and bathe in the sun.

THE YOUNGER EAGLES NEVER FEED THEM
During this time the eagle fasts and only survives by other eagles dropping food down to it. Yet it is never the younger eagles that are dropping the food, it is always the older eagles that have survived this experience and know what the "molting" eagle is going through. Eagles molt during the summer months.

JUST FIND THE "ROCK OF AGES" AND LAY ON IT
Whether you want to hear this or not, there is a certain point in the life of an overcoming Christian where there is a "molting" stage and it looks as though we have been stripped down to nothing.
Many Christians "die" at this point. They give up and "throw in the towel" and just quit. But if you will just keep moving into your destiny at this point, you will find that there is something waiting for you. If you can find the "Rock" of Ages and lay on it and bathe in the "SON"... you too can be renewed like an eagle.

After this waiting period, that lasts for quite a while, an eagle's feathers, beak and talons grow back, the eagle will soar again with greater strength than ever before!

It is believed that when an eagle finally dies...
he dies on a rock - facing the sun.

"THEY THAT WAIT UPON THE LORD SHALL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH!"
IT'S TIME TO LAY ON THE "ROCK" AND BATHE IN THE "SON."
