It is now possible to rent a private place in Havana, Cuba, when visiting here. People who travel by themselves often like to find a private accomodation, which is cheaper and allows them to get closer to the country's reality. This service is offered by a Cuban family, with which you are dealing directly now!!!

We have a very nice apartment downtown Havana, just in the best Vedado area. Located in a classic building from the golden Cuban 20's, still well conserved, it is surrounded by the San Juan de Letran catholic church, and the refreshing Victor Hugo's park. All that makes it centric and quiet at the same time. It is only 5 blocks away from the Habana Libre Hotel, and 7 blocks far from the famous Hotel Nacional de Cuba. We say close to "where the action takes place..."

Our apartment has bedrooms (double), with air conditioned, TV and VCR. It has hot and cool tap water in both bathroom and kitchen. The place is protected by an electronic security system, along with three different locks at the main entrance, which make it highly safe. It has also a safety box available. Our place is totally upgraded to western standards.

Price: 25-30 USD/day (double bedroom), depending on the season.

This very useful mountain bike with 21 speeds is one of the extra services we have now available for our guests. For only 5 USD per day or 1 USD per hour (*) you will have this trasnportation mean, which gives you a high movility in the city. Bycicles are in general a wide spread mean to move around in Havana, used by thousands of Cubans, due to the lack of a realible public transportation system, and the high taxi and rent a car prices.
