Already, as we can see (from recent events), the fruits of the de-valuation of wisdom may arrive much swifter and harder that at times in the past.

(A.) Electronic circuits are already more than 10 million times faster that a neurons electrochemical processes. [ Besides, people tend to like to conserve in utilizing processes of thought, (they are "cognitive misers".)](B.)Most of the complexity of a human neuron is devoted to maintaining its life support functions, not of its information processing capability...(C.)... ironically, it would then seem that computers owill be more capable of a pure state, non-material existence....

Here's a Little Story

About more interesting stuff...

.... I used to know this CIA guy who liked to take my lady out to dinner, while I was awol on my "Death Valley trip' in early 2000.... he was her boss ( and I only left her a note, so she was fairly distraught, but, hey, I thought I might look for some construction work Vegas, to pay the bills..) anyhow she and Mr. Livingstone ( related to the Dr. Livingstone of "Dr. Livingstone, I presume..." fame. The same Mr. Livingstone was also the developer of the secondary logic layer in PSYCE*, its reasoning structure, and who is also the one who really got it working. * - the foremost government AI project and the first AI program to really bring tangible results and start making money for anybody, AS STATED IN THE MIT TECHNOLOGY REVIEW way back then, that article actually just came out about a week after he had shared about his experience, he was such a genius he actually learned programming on the job, basically....and still performed a quite remarkable feat**...as well, he was an ex-CIA Middle East expert and OIL Liason to Japan - incidentally, he also said, when it started, we'd be there 8-10 years, but also that, because of the way the borders were drawn - ...there would never be a unified peaceful IRAQ...) became fairly good friends...some years later, after I had returned.. I became ill, then hospitalized, a short time after I had been ejected from the apartment I had been sharing with her (enjoying my newfound freedom a little too much, perhaps) I wound up staying at his pad for a few weeks, he was sympathetique - for he had some experience with gastric difficulties as well- but, to get to the point .... after reading a version of the Bhagavad Gita that he had handy, I composed a little chart for him demonstrating why Christianity and Hinduism were basically mutually exclusive, as he was of the "all religions are the same" mindset, and it appeared he was fairly quickly convinced of my "argument" and he thanked me and kept my chart... I once asked if he thought he might ever get along with "someone who looked as I do", for I was somewhat of a longhair of somewhat casual and rough aspect, to which he replied, "No, i don't think i would, ordinarily, Tom, but of course I think you're quality (intelligent) ...or i wouldn't even talk to you, most likely..." he was interesting and quality fellow himself, though maybe a bit rascally, but he was terminally ill ... and I'm fairly sure he has passed away by now...I think he was never recognized for being the great man he was...part of THE REASON I TELL THIS STORY, but also to tell you that a great, brilliant man (who was a christian), came to realize very ;late in his life that all religions are not the same... and I'm glad that I could clear that up for him**... but also to introduce you to the one responsible for the world's first profitable Artificial Intelligence program, and of course a pat on the back for myself, all in fun of course...- In spite of his true greatness, for only a great man can lay claim to being the one who got the world's first working Artificial Intelligence program up and running and answering questions in a matter of fact way...ETC., he was actually very poorly treated by the VA administration in the treatment of his very grave gastric anomalies...which he handled very well, very significant mind over very significant health setbacks did he exhibit...but, its a shame..the way he was treated....]

This biggest question about the future is ... will we make it? But as you can see ... if we were to posit getting there, there would seem to be many more questions for us to ponder now.

- - - - Suggestion: ...use time now to develop some theories.. which all converge upon a theory of, at least, something which tends toward a positive valuation of what is commonly known as wisdom today..."
Already, as we can see (from recent events), the fruits of the de-valuation of wisdom may arrive much swifter and harder that at times in the past.
