Pack
The amount of pack in your shock absorbers refers to how quickly the shocks stiffen-up when operating at high speed.  The amount of pack is determined by the shock piston and the shock oil viscosity.  Shock pistons with small holes coupled with low viscosity oil will have more pack than large holes and high viscosity.
Pinion
The small gear that fits onto the output shaft of the motor.
Piston
The small, circular disc which fits onto the end of the shock shaft and has holes drilled in it to allow the shock oil to flow through them.
Practice pegs
A set of clothes-pegs marked with all the frequencys that are available to  model car transmitters, both 27MHz and 40 MHz.  Once you have taken a ped, this notifies everyone else that that particular frequency is in use and should not be used untill the ped is returned.
Punch
A term often used in model car racing to describe the acceleration of a particular battery pack or motor.
i.e more punch = more acceleration
