I would like to talk you about responsibility. Why is it so hard for people to take responsibility for their actions? I am so sick of hearing about how everything is someone else's fault. It is always someone else. Sure, sure.
The idea of responsibility carries over to everything we do. When I fuck up I take responsibility for it (if it indeed is my fault). Sure there are times where something fails and it is because of a number of factors out of ones control and it would seem wrong to take responsibility for it's failure but the bottom line is if I did it I did it. The internet has really made it easy to dump the responsibility onto another. On the net you can insult, defame, annoy, accuse, stalk, invade, harass and outright ruin someone without them even knowing who you are. If they find out who you are (or claim to be) you most likely used a false persona and are therefore protected. You make a new ID and blame the old one. There, done, problem solved.
The web (apt name) actually encourages the use of persona's and lies and I find that wrong. 99% of the people who bolster a load and/or dextertius persona would NEVER say or do those things in the "real world" (well as real as we allow it to be). Too often a misleading or outright false persona is used and mistaken for the person whom is the puppeteer. There are some reasons I detest internet ID's. It helps to create those damn persona's and I hate persona's because after a while it get very difficult to tell which "side" is the real one and which is the simply the persona. The name on my e-mail address is my REAL name. When you e-mail me and you see that name there, that is my real name. How I type (as in my patterns and style) is the same as I do when I talk in real life. I am the same in person as I am here (for better or worse). Take responsibility for your actions damn it.
