Good news for all you spanish Westlife fans out there! The guys have actually recorded 2 tracks in spanish! And it's not just 2 tracks, it's THE 2 tracks. My personal favourite from 'Coast to Coast' When you're looking like that. and the hit single 'I lay my love on you' Bryan says: "We've tried to record a song in Spanish for the last two years. But we don't speak Spanish, so there's not the same emotion. In English we're know what we're singing and can feel it more."
Westlife made history on Friday night, since they became the first boy band to do a concert in South Africa. The show was one of three that the guys are gonna do.
Some reports say that the temperature in the stadium was so high that the guys at one point turned
their back against the audience and dropped their pants. And one of the lads even dropped his underpants!

Bryan's comments about Westlife not lasting more than five years in to the future has caused a lot of rumors about the guys splitting up. Fans around the globe are dissapointed with Bryan and afraid that Westlife won't stay together for much longer. To kill all those rumors the band did a statement that read: "Westlife are currently abroad in the middle of a 100-date world tour and will return to the UK this summer to begin recording their third album which will be released this autumn. They are at the pinnacle of their career and they're not going to give up. They still have a long way to go."
Bryan sees no future for Westlife. He doesn't expect the band to stay together more than five years, and he also says that "the world does not revolve around Westlife". With the plans on marrying Kerry Katona and having a baby on the way, it seems as if Bryan has forgotten all about his dream about being in Westlife. He finish of by saying: "I don't rely on this band any more. This band is everything to some people. It isn't to me. I've got a baby and a wife on the way so the world does not revolve around Westlife."
Nicky is to marry Georgina, according to reports. No date has been set yet, but the happy couple have just moved in together. Nicky himself, says:
"I want to put 100 per cent of my energies into Westlife and then, if we take a break or slow down, I can get married and start a family." Well, alright than, good lucky Nicky, we wish you all the best of luck!
Westlife are performing in Dublin tomorrown, and the fans are going to be able to watch the show live, since it's being broadcast live on satellite TV.
SKY will broadcast the show from 7pm - 9.30pm, and it will also inclube an 'Access All Areas' hour long special.
BUT, if you want to see the show you'll haft to pay £9.99, and for those of you who can't see the show when it's being broadcast can always watch it later, since
it's gonna be released on video and DVD in November.
There you go, Westlife's christmas single for the christmas 2001 is going to be the old classic, 'White Christmas. Atleast that's what they are planing. Hmm.. Isn't that song a bit... slow?? Oh, well, maybe not the greatest song to play at your hip x-mas party, but it'll be great to play in the background when you're opening all those x-mas gifts!
Kian was beaten up by five guys when he was standing in the street eating chips in Sligo. Kian was beatenrepeatedly in the face, and the guys also hit one of Kians mates. The lad who hit Kian first came up to him and asked him how he would feel about playing The Pot in Dublin with a black eye, and than he hit him straight in the face. Kian's comments of the whole thing were: "I'm really annoyed. This is one of the biggest gigs of our lives. but now it has been marred. And I've got a hell of a swollen nose." Kian got away from the whole nasty incident with 2 black eyes, and one broken tooth. Poor Kian! Hope you get well soon!
Good new for all of the american Westlife fans, coz the guys are going to USA later this year, to try and make it over there as well. They are flying over there for the summer, and they are staying for about 5 months. Aww, we're sure gonna miss em' over here, arn't we? But as always, we wish em' all the best of luck!

Westlife won 1 brit award last night! They won the award for best pop act, and beat Ronan Keating, S club 7, Steps and Britney Spears! Well done guys!

Nicky is moving in with his girlfriend Georgina. The couple have been together for six years now, and now they wanna move in together in a house outside Dublin. But Nicky says that him and Georgina are not getting married, yet anyway, and he thinks that one Westlife wedding is enough for the moment.

Westlife is recording a song for Comic Relief, the song is called Uptown Girl, and the video for the song is recorded at a cafe, where Westlife is working and Claudia Schiffer comes in and falls inlove with the guys. The song was originally recorded by Billy Joel, and is to be released on March 5, ahead of Comic Relief Day on March 16.
Kerry Katona, who is expecting a baby with Bryan McFadden is leaving Atomic Kitten, to have more time over for the baby, that is due in September. At the same time Bryan has announced that he is not going to go with the guys on the pepsi tour in USA later this year, since it is to close to the baby's birth. The big questions is if Bryan is going to take Kerry's exampel and leave Westlife?! Let's just hope he doesn't....

Well, the truth is, they are not really bothered about becoming number one or not. As Kian puts it: "we're not really that worried about getting to Number One or not. People seem to think we're obsessed with topping the charts with every single release, but that's just rubbish."
