The poems and stories recorded here are the only type of continuous record of my life since I haven't been able to keep a daily journal, ever. Writing is how I sort out things in my own mind and explore new ideas. Some of the earlier poems were assignments in high school English classes or written in Art. Reading through these may not be easy or make much sense at all, but any attempt is worth the effort in my opinion. Looking back, I can tell from these poems and stories when I was manic, depressed, stable and in flux. Thankfully, my life is relatively in balance now with regular medication .
