"Vacation Memories"
When we meander along on vacation, We wander far away from our lives. The days are to be full of rest and relaxation, But the worries and fears still remain. We are concerned for those we love; We worry about those off places. The pressures of life always remain ‘cuz Of our memories that don’t go away. We dream of them, mail postcards to Them, write them, and sometimes call them. They are the ones we can’t do Without for very long at all. We go on vacation to have a break From everyday worries and fears. We bring and take memories with us. Some fade out for fun, others are of the fun. Megan Delia Ratcliff 26 May 1997 |
