| “Mi Hija”
She may not be near in person, But she is always dear to my heart. I love here more than I do, or will, any other. My little girl is a terrific young person. When we’re apart, it’s like I’ve been hit by a dart; But she needs to be with her mother. Mi hija will always call me “Daddy” And already has her mother to call “Mommy”. No others will have these names from her. My little girl may have a stepmother, Or a stepfather, but she already has sus padres. Maybe on day, I’ll find someone to understand That I can’t change the past, nor abandon mi hija; For she is the one true lasting love of my life.
