Images fixed/Pages updated. - 9/29/05 More then half of the images in the Information section are up and viewable now, and not only are old images back but some new ones, though some of the older images I still could not find and will try again. Volunteer help is appreciated, you can view the Note Board for the list. New Chapter to Finding the True Gift. - 9/29/05 A new chapter by Golden Wind is up. Nicki comes home and the Hunter that is to find Morgan is introduced into the story. Here's a little bit from the chapter: "To an ooman the massive animals would’ve looked like moving mounds of snow with black eyes, but through the Warrior’s heat vision mask, they were giant bodies of orange, yellow and red against a mountain of dark purple. He sat back on his heels ans scanned the herd to find suitable prey. Three small pachyderms, undoubtedly babies, were huddling close to their mothers for protection from the cold. Five of them were juveniles and the Hunter growled, thinking that they wouldn’t have enough experience to put up a worthy fight. The two biggest mammals, who looked to be the leaders from the way they held their heads up high, stood on the outskirts of the herd. Both were male and one of them was missing half of his upper right tusk, probably from protecting the herd or putting a challenging member in it’s place." Check out the new chapter here. New Chapters to What Is The Price For Becoming Who You Want To Be . - 9/29/05 To new chapters by Gabrielle, Chapter 6 and 7, are up and ready for reading. Here's a little part from Chapter Six: "I can’t believe I have to go home! It angers me knowing that I’ll have to talk to all those people who shunned me away when they found I was leaving Eros. Once a miner always a miner, yeah well I didn’t want to be a damn miner! I didn’t want to work in the dry heat and move huge rocks in to cart so the Roi-Hoi could tow them away. Poor animals half of them are just horses all they do is pull and heave rocks for a living. There only picked to do the job because compared to a horse they can tow twice as much and can take the long hours of work with out needing water. I swear if I find they put my beautiful animal in there and made him tow dirt I’ll break their legs. Argon is a riding animal and not a working one, I always let him roam free in the desert from time to time. I’d hate to see him towing rocks for some jackass who needs a work animal. That’s the painful reality of where I come from it’s a dusty desert with fields in places and it has no dawn. It’s always dusk apart from when the sun moves and total darkness sets in." Over at The Ultimate Predator Forums. - 9/17/05 It finally happened, and I being there so long had no idea this would happen ( I was just an active member), but the owner The Ultimate Predator has just recently made me a Global Moderator for the forum. The reason being I am this is to watch the forum/"Forum sit" while The Ultimate Predator is away to college, and during his time of absence will keep a close eye on the forum for him. He'll still be dropping by from time to time to post and see how things are going. Also, because of moving off to college and just plain out needing extra time The Ultimate Predator has put his site updates to the side for the time being, his site is looking pretty good though, and for still needing some updates looks far better then mine. Not only is that updated but all the links are fixed AND all the book images are up and viewable now, the new feature with them is the ISBN Number: This is a part on the inside of the book used to mark it as it is to order it. New Chapters. - 9/13/05 Two new chapters, chapters 4 and 5, have been added to What Is The Price For Becoming Who You Want To Be by Gabrielle. View the story here. Thanks. - 9/11/05 Credit and a Thank You goes out to Iggy Booriakin (A.K.A. Jason=MK=Iggy) for finding a text glitch that was in all the pages except for the homepage. The problem has been fixed except for the Merchandise Section being that is a larger area and I need more time for it. Thanks Iggy. Remembrance of 9/11. - 9/11/05 To those here in the United States, or those from here but just not in our country at the moment, we all to well remember the day the towers fell and just how it happened. The heart pounding horror as we stood at work or at home glued to the TV watching black smoke bellowing from the firey and falling buildings as another plane full of innocent passangers were flown straight into the towers. Today is the day that happened, as remembrance I have found a story about what happened then, but because only Predator related topics are allowed here this is involves a Predator on that very day as he witnesses what happens. A bit from the story, Watching the Chaos: "I heard it first I think, the screaming roar of jumbo jet engines flying to low. The strange sound aroused curiosity, a thing soon vanquished, as I turned where I crouched to try and see where these sounds came from. Then I saw the first, a shining object heading for the city fast. Maybe I was the first to see it; I guess I will never really know." Read the rest of this story here. NFL and Predator. - 9/11/05 NFL Monday night football is here (in the United States) and oh isn't that so sweet? I'm not that big of a sports fan, but I'll admit that I do catch a few games and cheer for my favored teams. To celebrate this occasion I have found a Predator story just for it, but because only Predator related topics are allowed here this is involves a group of Predators as they watch a game from the top of a stadium. A bit from the story, Universal Commonground: Sports and Spectators: "The leader could only watch, bewildered by the spectacle before him. In all his experience, all his years in the hunt, he was left befuddled and without answer when his students questioned the sight before them. As he absorbed more of it, he began to understand the brief reason for such a mass gathering of oomans, and combined with his previous knowledge of them, he was able to give his pupils some answers and explanations. The only thing he could contrive this to be was sport of some kind, much like the trials his own people participated in." Read the rest of this story here. Created by Iggy Booriakin, titled "Predator: Area 51", this is a neat chapter concerning that mysterious land area called Area 51 with a touch of creativeness and dipped with Predators with Xenomorphs on the side. Note: This fic is rated R. Story Description: Humans have stolen the weapons and technology of the Yautja. They plan to test it, and use it for war. The Yautja will do whatever it takes to get it back and kill who ever has done this. But the humans have creatures on their side: the Xenomorph. A bit from the story: "H'chak had his cloak on, stading on top of a abandon parking structure, looking down through the window of the Rachel police hold, he switched to tech vision, looked around for any cameras and mounted guns. He found about 10 cameras mounted in a line on the gutters. He jumped off the parking structure onto the roof of the reserve, and quickly sliced off the cameras with his wrist blades one by one. Two guards came outside looking for the person who dismounted the cameras." Read the rest of this story here. Nifty new thread. - 9/11/05 Over at The Ultimate Predator Forums there is a neat little thread where you can post your Predator collections (Aliens is allowed but as long as it is with some AvP/AVP and/or Predator stuff). Images as well as well as good 'ole text lists go up and the images just show off all the stuff that you thought you had covered. I thought I had everything with a large collection, mine was just medium sized and come to find out I don't have all the AvP and Predator books. It's also enjoyable to read, and see, what other people have and how much you actually have in common with them in Alien(s), Predator and AvP/AVP entertainment. Check out the thread here. Updates to The Ultimate Predator site. - 9/11/05 A few updates are been up at the, The Ultimate Predator site, the biggest and most favored one I say is the news The Ultimate Predator has with a "Pre-Production interview" concerning a Predator game titled "Predator: Dark Jungle" that's going to be out for the PSP and GBDS. That's bad news for me being I don't have either of those two handhelds. Note: This isn't the only new update over there, so check out the site see what all is there. http://theultimatepredator.tripod.com New/Old Predator site added. - 9/02/05 Predator's Lair, was here before but had been taken off the homepage due that the site had been cancelled, but now it's back and looking much better then before. And, STIBS Aliens vs. Predator vs. Terminator tattoo has been re-added to the site.
