| Sometimes it can take a while to get where you need to go in the vast world of Hyrule. It's a good idea to know where the shortcuts are. The dotted lines on the map below show three of the shortcuts. In addition to the shortcut to the Lost Woods in Goron City, you will find another shortcut from Darunia's room that leads to Death Mountain Crater, or try floating down the Gerudo River to reach Lake Hylia. As a child, the owl Kaepora Gaebora will give you lifts from the top of Death Mountain to Kakariko Village, and from Lake Hylia to Hyrule Castle. As an adult, Sheik will teach you songs that will warp you to six spots around Hyrule. They are called out on the map with the Ocarina of Time icon and the name of the song. |
