What is the Athletic Booster Club of Medford Lakes (ABCML)?
The ABCML is a non-profit fund raising organization whose main purpose is to provide an additional funding source to enhance the athletic programs in our elementary school district.

Who are the members of the ABCML?
The Booster Club is made up of all of those individuals who pay yearly dues to the Club. The dues are a major portion of the funding raised by the club each year. Anyone can be a member of the ABCML, simply by paying a $20.00 membership fee.

Who runs the ABCML?
The ABCML is run by an Executive Board. Each year, the club membership elects a President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, and Corresponding Secretary, along with appointing Committee Chairpersons for the various fundraising events. These individuals meet on a monthly basis in order to carry out the business of the ABCML, organizing fundraisers and deciding how to allocate the funds it raises.

What does the ABCML do with the funds it raises?
Over the years, the ABCML has given a large donation directly to the district to offset costs incurred by the athletic program. In fact, the ABCML was started when the athletic programs were in jeopardy of being eliminated from the school district due to severe cuts in state aid. With the funds raised by the ABCML, the school district has been able to purchase safety equipment, uniforms, and sports equipment for the various teams of the district. Very recently, the club has decided to take a more direct and active role in deciding what the funds it raises will be used for, in an effort to ensure that the monies raised are being used to directly benefit the athletic programs of the district.

How can I get involved?
Become a member of the ABCML for just $20.00 a year (link to Membership Form here). Come out to one of our meetings (usually held the third Thursday of the month at the Neeta School Library beginning at 7 pm) and get involved in one of our committees, or volunteer for an Executive Board position.
