The Academy on Tour | |||||||||||||||
Woolacombe | |||||||||||||||
The annual trip to Woolacombe began 3 years ago and has been an experience every time. The boys look forward to this and it usually takes place in early summer to give the boys time to catch up and get some pre-season training in. There have been many highlights for all members but the rule is what goes on tour stays on tour so not everything is repeatable. Marescos is the place we go in Woolers and what a place it is so many hotties it's unbelievable. Why aren't there any at home! From beach rugby, (Brodie) just a slight accident and a trip to hospital! To a heavy night of puking after drinking games and an early exit (Foylo), there has always been an event these being the most recent ones! In future years we hope that we can be joined by the AFC member yet to come Chris 'Haynut' Hayward, he will be there one day! Girls watch out, the boys will be back! |

What an experience,playin football abroad and doing us proud with our first piece of silverwear in a 5-a-side tournament, were thankful it wasn't 6-a-side otherwise Salter would have had to play! From skinny-nipping to cooking it was all done, except the mishaps with the cooking. How can you screw up melting chocalate, ask Foyle and Salter thats what i say, i thought it was impossible but no! As for the skinny nipping(look at the picture of Ned). |

THE NEW HOLIDAY!!!!! | |||||||||||||||
The boys have been discussing a new holiday and this year the boys seem set on going abroad! Many ideas have been thrown up, Ned and Mark want a romantic cruise. Academy manager Jon Eamer fancies a training holiday in La Manga, but treasurer James Foyle has ruled this out due to insufficient funds and this trip may send AFC into administration. All efforts are being made to make this dream into a reality, although AFCs organisation skills leave a lot to be desired, so who knows where we will end up. The money will still be on Woolers, with a short trip almost a definite. |
