The easter period has arrived and with the academy members expecting a furious fixture schedule, a drinking session in Bristol was suggested to discuss tactics. This all went very well and a page will soon be up about the exploits in that Bristol trip. A Bristol training session also took place and altough in unfamiliar surroundings the boys showed what they were made of with some quality touches.
A few sessions have also been taking place at Ash Meadow, special mention must got to the groundsman Ned who has done a marvellous job and the pitch almost looks pro. Unfortunately the Academys reputation now proceeds them and finding fixtures is becoming increasingly difficult due to the humiliating defeats that opposition now expect from such a well drilled team.
A source close to Adam Chapman has also revealed that he is close to signing for the Academy in a lucrative 4year deal, in an undisclosed fee. AFC manager Jon Eamer has again refused to comment on the specultion saying that 'no transfer talks are in place, and nothing can go throught until the end of the transfer window anyway.'
