BOILING POINT (1993)
MORGAN'S RATING
They've got guns and a deadly plan. They're killing cops and hitting the mob. A smooth-talking crime sleaze and his quick-fingered accomplice are not afraid of anyone. But they should be. They've crossed paths with Treasury Agent Jimmy Mercer, a cop at his Boiling Point. Snipes and Dennis Hopper turn up the heat in this tightly wound police-action manhunt. Mercer is tough, proud, married to his job...and not above stretching the law to smoke out his partner's killers. Hopper is Red, a scam artist looking for a last big score and running out of options. He'll play those options to the max. He could be playing into Mercer's hand.
Wesley Snipes (Jimmy Mercer), Dennis Hopper (Red Diamond), Lolita Davidovich (Vikki Dunbar), Viggo Mortensen (Ronnie), Seymour Cassel (Virgil Leach), Jonathan Banks (Max), Christine Elise (Carol), Tony Lo Bianco (Tony Dio), Valerie Perrine (Mona), James Tolkan (Levitt), Paul Gleason (Transaction Man), Lorraine Evanoff (Connie), Stephanie Williams (Sally), Tobin Bell (Roth), Bobby Hosea (Steve), Dan Hedaya (Brady), George Gerdes (Henderson), James Pickens Jr. (Prison Officer), Keith Leon Williams (Cook), Rick Dean (Bartender), John Petievich (Hotel Security Officer), Mark Phelan (Banner), Nancy Sullivan (Clerk), John Lander (Coroner's Deputy), Lisa Kaseman (Ballroom Dancer), Janet May (Vocalist), John D.
