Jones reprises his Oscar-winning role as no-bull law man Sam Gerard; this time, his lamster is a former Secret Service agent accused -- perhaps wrongfully -- of the cold blooded murder of two of his unit members. As the chase unfolds, Gerard becomes more and more fascinated by this highly trained and intelligent quarry -- and more convinced of his innocence.

The quarry is a dive park for scuba divers. - The cemetary scene, which is clearly set in New York in the film, and is also referred to as "Queen Hill Cemetary" by Gerard on his radio, is actually Bohemian Cemetary in Chicago.  - Unusually, this is a movie spun-off from a film (1993's The Fugitive) which was a remake of a TV series in the 1960s.
