Directed by Richard Donner, X-15 is a fictionalized retelling of the story surrounding the historic X-15 spaceship. Like The Right Stuff and Countdown and Apollo 13, Donner's film introduces the men who risked their lives in the name of space travel, as well as the women who stood by their sides.
