Airedale terrier
The Airedale terrier is a medium-sized, well-boned, squarely built dog, and at all times a terrier in appearance and attitude. The Airedale terrier needs a lot of activity, and its not allergy friendly.

Early in the last century, the Airedale terrier was among other tings, used by the English police on patrols on docks and railway areas, and under the First World War it served both in the Russian and English army. It carried out commissions for the Red Cross, where it discovered injured and went with messages. The breed was distinguished as a very good report and guarding dog. In Second World War it was also active, but was after a while switched out with other dog breeds.

The Airedale terrier is the biggest of all the terrier breeds, and it’s a strong and powerful dog. The look is impressive, and the breed is outfitted with a deep voice that can scare away unwelcome “guests”.

The Airedale is a sporty, intelligent and loyal dog. For the children a good friend and a guarding dog if it’s need for it.
