D.I.Y. Art Burn:
...a brief and silly synopsis...

In Jan '06: we only had one keyboard stand, so we piled a few chairs and topped it off with a hard shell guitar case only to put our 1970's (?) Casio on there and it chose that night to stop working!  We left the setup but just used the Roland.

In May '05: our snare stand was stolen by a big name band and we didn't realize it until our next show.  We used what we had: string, duct tape and a couple of baskets...it was awesome.  We'll post pics soon.

In Sept '05: we forgot our guitar straps so Derek's shoelaces were quickly tied together and attatched to the bass while For The Mathematics thankfully provided a strap for Sheff.

In July '06: we opened at a show in Gananoque at the Boulevard Cinema and we sweat ALOT...It was so much fun!

Besides losing stuff all night and driving over a curb, the night was super fun The Mandarins are really great guys and we hope to continue playing shows with them.

HAULTED: 'LIVE' RECORDINGS
Soon after entering circulation
the band has chosen to cancel distrubution of the The CKCU Recordings.  The show/CD was recorded April 20, 2006 with 2 acoustics and a keyboard in a small, warm studio at Carleton University. Along with chatting host and master sound engineer Charles Anthony, there were never before heard versions of: ALICE, BUG, ESOTERIC BUCKWHEAT, DWI, CHIPPED PAINT and E-VILLE.  If you would really like to hear some of the tracks let us know, and we might send you some of the shows highlights...By the way, the full band will be returning to CKCU in Jamuary '07 to record  again!
