Ever hear tales that a theatre is haunted, well now you know it is true! Lurking in the shadows of a New England theatre near you is the theatre mystique critique.
I plan to take a fresh approach to reviewing local theatre, by remaining secret about my identity.
I do not do this offend the brave critics who take hits for freely expressing their opinion. My idea to remain anonymous to hopefully see a performance under normal circumstance. It is a sad but true fact that the actors get nervous thinking a critic may be in the house. Also it is a potential reality that this critic may get extended priviledges not extended to a normal patron, such as better seats or a personal chat with the director regarding their vision. Let me watch the show unnoticed, I want to voice my opinion of the show like an "average Joe". I will open my wallet at the ticket window and I will pay for my seats sitting in the nose bleed section of necessary as a supporter of the arts.
I welcome anyone to post to the message board or email me a response to my opinions. You may do so anonymously, if you wish, I won't mind! Theatrically yours, Ghost aka theatre_mystique_critique |
