Alex started his musical pursuit when he was in elementary school as a choir member and drummer in the school band. He won the "National Star Drummer Award" while attending his school Notre Dame. Due to his Doctor's advise, he stopped playing drums because of a bad case of pneumonia. But Alex didn't stop his musical career, instead he began learning keyboards and synthesizers while attending Adamson University. On the weekends, he began playing professionally with his band in some of the local bars, night clubs and concert halls all over the Philippines. After finishing college, he began touring with his band to some of the major cities in Asia and Europe. He and his band had the privilege of performing for one of the most prominent families in France. The family gave him the opportunity to play music on their private yacht, "The Paul Gauguin". Alex cruised the Atlantic, from Paris to South America.
Alex is now the Music Director of Lynnwood Christian Church and has been with NEMESIS since its' inception in November of 2001. |
