THE BASTARDS ROCK AND FUCKING ROLL This is The Bastard's Hompage. The Bastards are a band from New Paltz. It was formed during the spring semester of 2003. We just put out an album named: Shot by You. Always check out the concerts page to see when we are playing and post any messages on the message board to get in touch with me or e-mail us. Mino Acid 12/14/03 The Bettie Rockers are dead, more than dead, buried and trampled to death untill the end of time. This is a good thing suprisingly. The new band is called The Bastards and were straight up rock and fucking roll with a stronger attitude and desire to rock your pants off and fuck you in the ass. Beware and stay-tuned for our new web page. 11/18/03 Due to clashes in personality and differences the Bettie Rockers are currently a three piece. We had a awesome time playing as a four piece but plan to have an even better one as a three piece. Vocals will be turned over to Jimmy and back-ups to Billy. The Bettie Rockers are very excited to play again and looking forward to our next show. 11/9/03 The show at Jarods was a lot of fun for me and it is a really cool place to play. Hopefully we'll play more shows there. No shows or plans at the moment and people might see a small side project by Billy and Jimmy Lee at open mic-horror film project..muahah...evil..muahah.die. 11/3/03 A new month. And to start this month we got out of the way bad shows. Haha. The show at club crannell was pretty awful, it was our chance to the older parent crowd to love us..and ..i'll be honest-- we failed. haha. But i had a good time and we learn from our- i mean Billy's mistakes. The show at jarod's is going to be a million times more fun and better. Hopefully see everyone there!!!!November 7th! 10/26/03 Alright a number of shows are coming up! Not even sure if i know where to begin. Maybe..TONIGHT? Were "head-lining" at Cabollosa's, November 1st playing at Club Crannell St., Nov. 7 Playing at Jarod's i believe. I'll try to figure out more information about the events, so stay in touch. Also - updated equipment page. I got a new guitar! and also put Billy's Bass on the page. 10/22/03 Bettie Rockers our getting excited about the show Thrusday. We hope some druken people show up. Lots of Free sex and beer at the show is the rumor...a rumor worth seeing if it's true. 10/20/03 The showS friday went awesome. We had a great time at the art gallery and an even better one opening up for Johnny Thrusday and the Friday Knights. Good times all around. Everyone should go this tuesday to catch us at open mic night at Snug's Harbor and if you do see us there- we're playing another show in the art gallery this Thursday-October 23ard!!! So be there. 10/16/03 If anyone wants to see us- Friday is the day! Bettie Rockers are playing on Campus- Smiley Art Gallery at 8:30 and then were going to follow up later that night at Snugs and play with Johnny Thursday and the Friday Nights and go on third. Were excited to play at all let alone two shows and we hope everyone comes to at least one of them. Is that so much to ask- go to concert page for more information. Show on campus is free! 10/5/03 Can't believe i forgot to say! Bettie Rockers now have a new amp!! So at shows people will hear guitar and hear it a lot cleaner and more powerful. Also- links,equipment,wanted equipment pages updated. 10/5/03 Hey-o! Hope people come out for us at Snugs this tuesday! Went to see Johnny Thrusday and the Friday Knights and they rocked, go check out their site - you can find it at the links page, they're awesome rock and roll. Also they even let us use their equipment and we played after them, very small crowd but we had a great time and was glad to play-hopefully we'll be able to play some shows with them in the future ~=Mino=-. 10/2/03 A new month for the bettie rockers! haha. Last tuesday played at snugs and had an awesome time there. Thanks for ellis and johnny for singing with us and everyone else who sang along. Were getting better and better on stage and my new amp is on the way so the guitar should be loud and clear at our shows soon!!! WOHOOO. 9/28/03 Bettie Rockers show at club crannell was a lot of fun and we thank all our friends that came out and any people who liked us. We had a lot of fun and hope to play there again. 9/17/03 Big News= The Bettie Rockers have a show at Club Crannell on September 27th!!! Everyone should go, and we plan to rock the place like never before. Also every tuesday at Snugs we've been playing so you can check us there. We're really excited about the Club Crannell show so we hope people come out to see us! 9/12/03 Johnny Cash died yesterday and took a part of a lot of people with me. A moment of silence for someone who left us with irreplacable music 9/6/03 Bettie Rockers have played at the last two Snug's Open Mic Nights at New Paltz. They're fun to play but were looking to play at some real shows, so if anyone knows anything e-mail(fatalfachino@aol.com). Band in the meantime will work on all the new material and all of us are excited to play. 8/09/03 An update...silence...Where have been the updates and Bettie Rockers--i'll tell you =miles apart. Summer everyone's been working and seperate but in the mean time i think the string arrangement in the band is getting better at their instruments. I've written even more riffs and school is close..end of world..close.. 6/26/03 The show is this saturday so everyone better be there! Hope to see more friends from this time and hope to put on a better show then last. Still got a lot to work on but we've only been around for a little while so give us some short slake not to much. Hope we see ya there at the rocking show! -Mino 6/17/03 Was bored so i figured i'd update the site. The videos have been uploaded to the site! Now you can see some footage from the bettie rockers first real show- i uploaded us doing three of our own songs (Nobody By My Side, Burnin' Up, and Inter-Species Breeding), So go check them videos out, they're not awesome quality/or the best sound but they're an update to the site!. Also updated links page...errr...nothing much else to add- so boogiedoogie. 6/12/03 It is official The Bettie Rockers are returning to Club Culture on Saturday, June 28th for another show. So any lazy assshole who missed us better show up at this show! Go to the concerts page for information and we really hope more friends and people get to see us this next time coming up- so be there. Fixed the music page-the links to our music work now. So anyone curious how good we are- now is able to download a clip of our music. The music is just clips and not full songs- have to buy cd to hear the whole songs. 6/09/03 The show on friday went better than we ever expected and gave us a lot of confidence in the music we're making. The June 6th show was are first real show and we sold 10 cds! It was quite the good feeling to see a hand full of people come up to our merchandise table after we played asking for a cd- thanks to everyone who liked us and bought a cd. The owner seemed to like us to and asked us to come back-- so our next concert is there I believe June 28th- i'll keep everyone informed about that. Everything seemed to go well that night and we only made minor mistakes- which is more than expected with like the 3ard time playing. Set list- Intro-My Kid?, Nobody By My Side, California Sun (ramones), Crack Baby Blues, Johnny B. Goode (chuck b), Inter-Species Breeding, Burnin' Up, Bodies (sexpistols), and the encore- Sick and Nasty. Couldn't be more happier with the show and i'm really excited about the future for the band. Also Alina videotaped us and i'll have a couple songs uploaded of us playing live!!(going to be sweet). Rock and Fucking Roll- Mino 6/04/03 Leaving today. The show is friday, be there! It is going to be so much fun and were going to fucking rock- i know it. 6/03/03 Fixed an error on the page-oh yea. Also added some lyrics to the songs i've written that the band hasn't gone over yet or practiced enough to play. So if anyone wants to take a look at those they can. And from the recent count we have 12 songs and I believe Brett is working on 1-2 so maybe 14 songs for our album. I can't wait to get in the studio and make it! P.S Our show is in 3 days be there!!!!! 5/29/03 I've gone insane..yes...i have. Anyways i've added the wanted equipment page, which you can find a link to on the equipment page. Also i've practically finished the merchandise seeing how all we have is a cd. I'm going to print some patches up tommorrow to post on the site and give a away at the shows. Maybe i'll even make a shirt for fun. One things for sure- i'll be wasting time on this site. But it's practically complete- so that is good. 5/28/03 You are reading correctly. This is the second update today. I think i'm driving myself insane with spending so much time on this site. The equipment page is done and i'll probably add a "wanted" equipment page- could be fun to do. Also added merchandise link to EVERY page, easy to due just a bitch and takes awhile. I've been staring at the computer way to long...help...can't see..all fading... 5/28/03 I've never spent so much time doing shit. Everyone in the band owes me butt sex. I've finished making the cd's to sell at our show and they came out nice. Currently making a merchandise page so you can see what they look like (won't be able to purchase cd's off the web for awhile though). I've finished uploading all pictures (hours of my life). I've finished taking and uploading pictures of our equipment (hours of my life). Also the music page is done (again-hours). So if you want to hear the songs on the cd and hear what we sound like go to the music page *note the songs are not full ones- just previews- have to buy the cd so we can make some money. I'm proud to say that the site is almost complete! Every page is almost done. All that i need to do is finish the equipment page and put in the merchandise really quick. Then all that is left is easy updating here- which millions of fans read daily. Also i wrote a new song today that i'm really, really, really excited to show the band! Its called "Was just there." Alright i'm calling Alina and taking a break from this site! 5/27/03 Alright finally we have some pictures on the site! We have a ton too! We have a lot of pictures from the recording session and I just recently got pictures from our first real show! So go to the pictures page and check out our hot bodies and then jerk off to them. 5/25/03 Just wanted to make some small updates saying that Billy (Brett) has purchased a new 100% American Rogue bass. This is good news to know that Billy will have a bass to play over the summer (he's been using mine) and he won't lose and fall behind with his playing. Also an update- fixed all the Bret's to Brett's...i've been spelling my best friends name wrong for the 2 years i've known him...shit. 5/22-23/03 This is going to be quite the proud update right here. Bettie Rockers accomplished a great deal of work- today and friday. Everyone came up and we recorded in Crooked Beat Studios (awesome place) and we produced a four song cd. The cd has three originals and one cover and whowever wants one will be able to purchase it for 2-3 dollars at our june 6th show and any show after that. The cd came out awesome, levels were done well and everything considering the time we did it in. Hopefully people will pick it up and give a listen or two. 5/12/03 Got a little carried away with shows there for a second, haha. Uploaded a gif of the band on biography page along with lyrics to Nobody by my Side, Crack Baby Blues, Burnin' Up, Get with it and Rise and Fall. So if anyone is wondering what we're singing about there are the lyrics. 5/10/03 Just played a show in Deyo Hall's basement, a lot of friends came and it was pretty small but we appreciate everyone that came out and hope they had a good time. DJ Tanner (Adam/rig) opened and played for us and we really are glad he did and hopefully he'll play with us again. Differences in our set. We played are most recent New song and screwed it up but nobody really notices- Nobody By My side and we left out sick and nasty, changed the order around and closed with Johnny B. Goode! Which is possibily the best song ever made. The guitar solo's and opening was ruff but i learned it that morning and rocked it later that night. We were a lot more comfortable this show and i'm really excited to play again. We are playing june 6th at Club culture check the concert page for details, and were going to play Snug's open mic this Tuesday, and hopefully follow up at Cabollozea's this Weds. 5/9/03 We played our first long show and not at an open mic. We played at my friend's Kate Senior Art show and a good number of people were there. Set List was: Halloween intro into My Kid?, Sick and the Nasty, California Sun (Ramones), Crack Baby Blues, People who Died (jim carroll), Inter- Species Breeding, Burning up, and closed with Bodies (Sex Pistols). Show was really good and everything did very well for our first real show. 5/8/03 Bettie rockers played last night,and it went REALLY AWESOMELEY. Got everyone at the bar watching us at the open mic and for the first time playing it went so rock and roll. We opened with the theme song from Halloween like we will do every show and went into My Kid which is ours, then we followed up with Crack Baby Blues, which is ours and then played California Sun by the Ramones and finished with Inter-Species Breeding. I think everyone can see from the songs we played how fucking perfect we are. HAHA. Updates - go to the concert page- we're playing sat and maybe this friday. Also I plan to update the bio page so if you're curious to how the band came about then check it out! Alright PEACE!- Mino 4/26/03 Practiced today with the whole band. Everything is starting to get off it's feet and sound pretty good. Covers and orginials are coming along and we should play hopefully twice live before the end of the school year. 4/16/03 Badda Bing Badda Fuck ya. Just finished jamming and it was the first time with the singer. Vocals sound better than i was figuring on. Got 2 covers practically down, and 4 originals are getting there. Hopefully play tommorrow, world conquest is around the corner for sure.-mino 4/13/03 Alright, we definitely havn't been advancing as fast as we wanted. Last night jammed with the drummer and got the drums down to 4 of the songs. Still 2 songs to get drums to and we still havn't learned any covers. We have 6 completed songs and I have 4 more riffs that i still have to show the bassist. Hopefully play at some bar in next 2 weeks. We'll see. Later- Mino 3/06/03 Yo, Yo, Yo.
