Troop 1200's meeting dates and scheduled activities

Questions:

Which service prjects would we like to do for the year? Do we want to go camping in May with the Older scouts of GSCB at Camp Todd?       If yes, should this be catered? Do we want to donate some money to a Daisy troop? Are we interested in doing a flag ceremony for the council's big ceremony? Would we like to learn basic self-defense before we go to NY?  We could                   incorporate this with a badge activity. Do we want to do teh state of Kansas for Thinking Day? Would we like to do patch trading? If so, let Jennifer N. know.

April 24 --> "Every Girl, Everywhere" Annual Council Meeting     Be prepared to do the flag ceremony for this.  We need to be there around 4 pm.

May 5 --> Community Friendly Feud

May 20 --> Older Girl Awards Ceremony

Things We have done:

Jenn N. sang "Growing Strong" at the Women of Distinction Ceremony and "Hero" (yes, by Mariah Carey) at the rededication/investiture/Bronze Cross Award ceremony.

Cookie (we sold 80 cases) and QSP sales Daisy Low Day Camp **Roller Skating **Investiture/Rededication/Bronze Cross **Award ceremony **Thinking Day **Girl Scout Birthday Dance **Scout Sunday **Caroling with Boy Scouts at the Library Donated food and Toiletries to a shelter and an animal shelter. Babysat for a local church. Put on a skit on AIDS during an AIDS awareness church service. Went to a Candle lighting service for AIDS awareness. Badge work and Bridging work. Won irst place in the Christmas Parade. Had a Christmas/New Years/Pizza Party. Did a troop shirt, pillows and friendship pens. White Water Rafting

We will be going to the 3 Little Bakers for dinner and to watch "The Sound of Music."  Some girls will be attending resident camp and/or camping with a Junior troop.
