The Bluescaster
A 4th generation Memphis musician, The Bluescaster is an original voice on the current blues scene.

Absorbing and adapting influences from jazz, to folk, to classical, and in performance taking the blues tradition to an exciting new level, The Bluescaster has been performing his unique brand of blues for 3 decades, and entertaining blues lovers in clubs and at festivals across the country.

He has worked with a variety of blues and folk performers, including ragtime guitarist Roy BookBinder,    Bill 'the Sauce Boss' Wharton, Randy Webster of Big Daddy and Red Hot Java,   veteran bluesman  Red Jones,  jazz/hip-hop fiddler Mark Russell, folkmeister Bob Zentz, master African drummer Olumidae  and living blues legend and Hall Of Fame inductee Sir Charles Atkins.

In performance, The Bluescaster displays an expansive array of influences, using everything from classical and flamenco guitar techniques to E-bowed doubleneck slide guitar, harmonica, and electronic special effects to create a contemporary Memphis blues that is not to be heard elsewhere.
