Boogie Palace Message Board

      Welcome to all, this is the Boogie Palace.  This is the place to come and find all that is Dr. Groovinstein, Acoustic X, Greg Pogue, and Full Tilt. The Studio is up and running at the Boogie Palace East.  24 track digital and 8 and 16 track analog coming soon!  Digital Remastering is also available.  We have been getting some "phat" sounds out and it is getting better all the time.

     Well as it has been said, it is indeed the end of an era.  Dr. Groovinstein has always been known to be full of surprises and that continues as a new era for the band begins.  Welcome one Mark Price (Bucky Princeton) taking over on drums.  The word is the band is moving in a more power pop direction.  It's all good, Johnny and Matt are going to fully concentrate on the studio and reviving the too long dormant rock n roll Monster Full Tilt.  Reuniting with guitarist Dave Young and as of yet an unamed bassist, Full Tilt is beginning work on a new album.  Full Tilt has been waiting on the back burner now for almost 2 years while everyone has put their full concentration on the Dr. Groovinstein and Greg Pogue projects.

   The new Full Tilt album will be entitled "Don't Smell It, Just Eat It" and is currently in pre-production.  The band plans on starting recording in a matter of days.  This album will be everything that "Renaissance"(the bands first album) and the "Full Tilt" Ep wanted to be and then some.

     The hot topic right now is Greg Pogue's long awaited debut solo release "It's About Time" featuring the members of Dr. Groovinstein and an assortment of guest players from around the area.   The single is almost ready for release and will be getting airplay on WLJE 105.5 FM locally.   

      There is plenty of stuff in the works!  Soon there will be no shortage of new material comin' from the Dr. G, Acoustic X, and Full Tilt.
