Created in a secret laboratory  within the darkest recesses of The Boogie Palace, somwhere on the outskirts of Malden,  an evening with the good doctor is by no means a night with just another rock band.  It is just not that simple.  It truly is a night to be remembered.  With sparkling harmonies and the pulse of undeniable groove, Dr. Groovinstein beckons to the heart and cries to the spirit of the audience.  Playing their own stylistic interpretations of classic covers, and the group's own original compositions, this is a mere scratch of the surface of what is Dr. Groovinstein.   Dr. Groovinstein is the product of the debut album "Welcome to Malden" by Chris Sulcer and Darren Locasto, on Full Tilt Records.  The power of Dr. Groovinstein was discovered during the recording sessions for "Welcome to Malden", and is still not fully realized, and not to be denied.  The group defies musical constraints exploring vast musical territories from funk to folk, motown to classic rock. Dr. Groovinstein can and will take the audience there and back again. "Got Groove?"
