Superboy Interviews
On occassion, the cast and crew of the the 'Superboy' TV series were interviewed for several magazines and other publications. In this section, you will surely learn more about the show and just who these actors of the 'Superboy' TV series were; some of their experiences and thoughts, as well as some interesting facts.
Exculsive, never-before-seen interviews with both Gerard Christopher and Stacy Haiduk by former TEEN MAGAZINES Art Director DAN RECCHIA:
Exculsive 1989 telephone interview with Gerard Christopher by former TEEN MAGAZINES Art Director Dan Recchia
Exculsive 1990 personal interview with Gerard Christopher by former TEEN MAGAZINES Art Director Dan Recchia
Exculsive 1990 telephone interview with Stacy Haiduk by former TEEN MAGAZINES Art Director Dan Recchia
Dan Recchia talks about the day he met and interviewed John Haymes Newton (unfortunately this one is on a lost tape).
In addition, Dan Recchia would like to share with us a John Haymes Newton, Superboy-styled autograph that he was able to ask for during the 1989 interview. As Dan stated to me, it wasn't often that John Newton signed autographs with a unique 'Superboy' signature. Because now Gerard Christopher is the one commonly associated with the series, this is somewhat of a rarity. I must say, it really does have personality!
Dan would also like to share a Gerard Christopher autograph he got from the second Superboy during their meeting in 1990. It should be noted that Dan passed away late last year. He will be remembered, even at a small site like this. Take care, Dan, wherever you are!
