Markham Village Community Centre

(southeast corner of Hwy 7 & Main St/Hwy 48/Markham Rd)

 

Note:  Depending on what section of the road you are on and/or what map you are looking at, Main Street in Markham can also be labeled as Hwy 48 (north of Markham) or Markham Road (south of Markham).

 

Directions:

From points west along Hwy 401 (Guelph, London, Detroit, etc.)  Take Hwy 401 east to Markham Road exit, on the east edge of the Greater Toronto Area.  Take Markham Road north to Hwy 7.  Turn right onto Hwy 7.  The driveway will be on your right, on the far side of the community centre.

 

From points east along Hwy 401 (Ottawa, Kingston, etc.)  Take Hwy 401 west to Markham Road exit, on the east edge of the Greater Toronto Area.  Take Markham Road north to Hwy 7.  Turn right onto Hwy 7.  The driveway will be on your right, on the far side of the community centre.

 

From points south along QEW/Hwy 403 (Hamilton, St. Catherines, Buffalo, etc.)  Take best route along whatever combination of I-90, Hwy 403 or Hwy 405 east to the QEW.  Take the QEW east to Hwy 427.  Take Hwy 427 north to Hwy 401.  Take Hwy 401 east to Markham Road exit, on the east edge of the Greater Toronto Area.  Take Markham Road north to Hwy 7.  Turn right onto Hwy 7.  The driveway will be on your right, on the far side of the community centre.

 

From points north along Hwy 400 (Barrie, Sudbury, North Bay, etc.)  Take Hwy 400 south to Hwy 401.  Take Hwy 401 east to Markham Road exit, on the east edge of the Greater Toronto Area.  Take Markham Road north to Hwy 7.  Turn right onto Hwy 7.  The driveway will be on your right, on the far side of the community centre.

 

If you don’t mind the tolls and want to save a few minutes, you can take your best route to Hwy 407.  Follow Hwy 407 east or west to Markham Road.  Take Markham Road north to Hwy 7.  Take Hwy 7 east to the site.
