Notes and observations:
Here the FOV members get some inside information about upcoming stuff from the Studio. And how cool is this: They get to hear that Bill Vogeney pulls out some other putter makers putter on the first green and Scotty says "No way....No fu^&ing way, no fu^&king way." And then throws the putter in the lake. When asked about whose putter Scotty was so FUCKING nuts about, another member who was there says "Scotty asked us out of class, not to say what putter was thrown." Just what kind of "class" are they talking about? I bet TP Mills rolled over in his grave, for the second time. The first was when Scotty told Mr. Doug during lunch with Margaret, Alberto and others that TCC sent an inappropriate and bad message when donations were being made after TP Mills death, to donate to the church where TP Mills was a member. That was the beginning of the end to the old TCC. Such a nice way to thank TP Mills for all the creative ideas that Scotty has "borrowed" over the years to amass his fame and fortune.

Well, Scotty and I taped probably a 50 minute conversation yesterday ranging through a wide range of topics. I think it was MUCH better than the first ones we taped for TCC and Club Cameron back in March.

We tried desperately to get Margaret on tape, and she politely declined, and we left it at that. Scotty was funny, I asked him whether we could interview Margaret.....he thought about it for 10 second and said, that SCARES me  biggrin

Look for the first podcast maybe next week

Well, it was Alberto's first trip to the studio (no one more deserving) so I tried to stay out of the way. He was in Jason's office while we were taping and seemed to have a great time.

Saw some great stuff...

The new My Girl

The Holiday

The new line of shirts, sweaters and hats

The new Vegas cover...incredibly cheesy looking...perfect Vegas look. I like it!

And MAN, did we pull two of the best practical jokes on Scotty on the course.

Well, I can share one of the jokes, and part of the other.

First of all, on the first green, I show up with a putter made by someone else.....another putter maker. Out of Scotty's mouth...."No way....No fu^&ing way, no fu^&king way." Needless to say, we had a few laughs over that one.

At Tablerock, Scotty loosened Rand's bag about 3 times on the cart, and of course, the clubs spilled out. Rand bought one of those bicycle chain/locks, and had his bag secured beyond belief. Took 10-11 holes for Scotty to notice. He said to me...."Does Rand have a lock on his bag?"

We just wanted to make sure Scotty knew he wasn't the only practical joker in the crowd.

Oh, BTW, to add insult to injury, I make about a 20 footer with the other putter. Longest putt I made all day!

Scotty asked us out of class, not to say what putter was thrown. We all loved the practical joke, but I thought it was a great idea not to discuss the name of the putter maker. So our lips will have to stay sealed and we do realize that there are other very good putter makers out there. Most of us on this site prefer Cameron's, but we don't want to start any bad blood, over a practical joke.

All I will say is that it was not a Ping, and I think we need to leave it at that. Vog's intent was to have a big laugh, but not to start any problems amongst Scotty, any of us collecotors, or any of the other well known putter manufacturers.

It was really just caught Scotty off gurard that Vog was not using a Cameron on our first hole. I still owe Scotty about a dozen practical jokes. I think I could write a book about all of them that he has pulled on me over the years. But I will wait for Vog's book to finish first. By the way it seems to be coming along really well. I will let him eloborate if he wants to chime in. About 250 high quality pages of Putter Porn is what I am hearing.
