CANDLE BURNING TIPS
For a better burning candle always ensure the following guidelines are followed:

** Never leave a burning candle unattended. Because of the naked flame, candles can present a fire hazzard if not burned safely.

** Burn candles in a draft free area. If there is a breeze, your candle will melt unevenly and drip.

**Always place a lit candle on a suitable heat resistant holder to catch spills.

** Keep children and pets away from a burning candle to prevent it being knocked over.

** Trim wicks to 1/4" before lighting. This helps to eliminate smoking and your candle will burn better and longer.

** Keep the burning area of the candle clean. Old match heads and debris will clog the wick.

** Keep your candle lit for a minimum of a half an hour per inch of the diameter of your candle to establish good burning.

** Extinguish your candle properly by pushing the wick into the melt pool. This will pervent smoldering and ensure a well waxed wick when the candle is relit. PLEASE Do not blow out a candle. The ember on the wick can remaining burning, and if not noticed it may tunnell down the depth of the candle, filling your home with smoke and ruining your candle.

** Refridgerate candles for a half an hour before lighting. This makes the wax harder and will give you a longer better burn.

** Fragrance Mushrooms are a buildup of carbon on the end of the wick. These mushrooms are friendly reminders that you are burning a handpoured highly scented candle. When buildup occurs, simply extinguish the candle, trim the wick to 1/4" and relight.
