March Clouded Issue- The FUNKY web edition
Welcome to the funky web edition of the clouded issue.  All the same news, just a different presentation....  And don't blame me for all the funky graphics, I'm just playing.

Greetings fellow Nichers from your friendly neighborhood Chatelaine!

The Baronial Chatelaine's Web Page is now under construction. Feel free to take a look at http://talk.to/BGNChatelaine and see how it's progressing. Please report any problems to me, but note that not all the pages are up yet and NONE are totally completed. Please do not pass out the URL to non-Baronial members until the page is completed. Also, anyone willing and wanting to submit articles for the Web Page and/or Baronial Newcomers Guide just need to e-mail or call me. Note: it does NOT have to be in file format to be used. Hard copies are accepted as they can easily be retyped. See the Regnum for my contact info. Also, any who want to submit graphics for either are also greatly appreciated.

Speaking of the handbook* Work on the Baronial Newcomers guide will commence after the web page is completed (since I plan on using the info on the web page in the handbook). Please do no hesitate to submit ANY articles for the handbook! Being geared specifically for our group, we can include all sorts of specific information like exact locations of various fabric stores around town, good places to shop for armor materials and whatnot. Even if you don't want to submit a full article, any suggestions are welcome. These can be given to me or to either of my two deputies.

On that note* for those who missed the Business Meeting on Feb 6, I've taken another deputy. Susanna inghean ui Caimbeul, (mka Susannah Austin) has graciously volunteered to help out myself and my other deputy, Mairead Dalaigh "Maggie"(mka Kimberly Sheffield), with all that I'm planning on doing. Any donations to the loaner garb can be given either to my deputies or me. Remember that it doesn't have to be just garb; Fabric, trim, notions and feast gear are all accepted.

An update on the loaner garb itself. We have garb for men, women and children. Men's garb is almost all for rather LARGE men. Some medium sized garb is actually rather needed (as we found out at the Collegium). There is a lot of ladies garb, now for most sized (thanks to Gresh and his Lady). Two things that are lacking are chemises and sideless surcoats. There is some children's garb, but I have not been able to go through it yet.
Please find enclosed in your CI a form to help me out a bit. This is to show your areas of interest so if someone asks, "I'm interested in doing such and such, how do I get started?" I can direct them to different people in the Barony who can explain things more in detail. Our Web Mistress has published a new page called the Helping Hand that is pretty much the same thing (Thanks Luca!). You can fill out either/or. http://www.greyniche.org/content/assist.htm
I'm also still looking for someone willing to help with the Newcomers medallions. We've had someone offer to cast molds, but we need someone to make the molds. I severely lack talent in this department, so please help!

I know I'm forgetting lots, but once again I'm getting long winded.

Please send any comments, suggestions and glowing praise to me at Lethann@mail.com. All complaints, death threats and assignation attempts can be directed to the Chronicler. (ha ha!)

P.s. For those who don't get the running gag, the Chronicler & I live at the same address.

Greetings from the Baronial Chronicler,

If you want to be sure you get a paper copy of the Clouded Issue please give me some stamps in an envelope with your name and address printed on the envelope. I will make sure that those to be mailed are sent. If you do not receive a paper copy there is an electronic copy at http://www.oocities.org/thecloudedissue for enjoyment.
*Also I need help with art work. Thanks to Baroness Teresa Berconi for last month*s cover art and thanks to Lady Zofia Borek and Lord Kestrl for their contributions and work in making this Clouded Issue less bare. All mail bombs can be sent to the Chatelaine.
