The History of the Brotherhood of the Crimson Fang
In the first age of the Land of the Mist there was peace, but in order to protect the people from the threats of nature there was formed a group of elves that would protect the people from the wildlife and the orcs as they began to arrive and make their raids.
During the beginning of the second age this nameless group began to include men, and a few dwarves even sought to join the ranks of the protectors.  The fighters, during one summer night, fell upon the orcs of the White Fang.  As the fighters left the scene of the massacred orcs a man went to wash his hands in the river.  Finding the river red with blood he began to walk away, until he happened upon the standard of the orcs, now stained red with blood.  This man would proudly wave the standard, as warning to all, before each battle this group fought.
When the wars of the second age came this group came to find themselves fondly known as the Crimson Fang as they sold their swords in service to the factions at war.  As the wars ended there was much dissent amoung the ranks of the Crimson Fang when one night, in a desperate attempt to salvage dignity and a bit of revenge for their dead king and shaman, three tribes of orcs fell upon the camp of the Crimson Fang.  Though the Crimson Fang was destroyed the three orc tribes that entered the battle left the battle smaller than any of the original.
For years the Crimson Fang was forgotten, becoming nothing more than folklore and legend to the people of the Land Between the Lands, until an elf named Isen and a dwarf called Theodoric happened upon the remains of the final Crimson Fang encampment.  It was then that I had the previous vision that taught me the true meaning of the Crimson Fang.  Thus the Brotherhood of the Crimson Fang was born.  Out of the ashes of fallen warriors will rise a new breed of elves, dwarves, and men.  Our group is sure to be smaller, but will stand for the same virtues of honor, and love of our brethren, though this time...we shall work from the shadows of the land...
