August 25, 1999 -- The tour dates for Family Values 99 were announced yesterday at Korn.com. Korn is not on this years tour but may make apperances at a few stops. Limp Bizkit will headline this years tour which will run from September 21 to October 31.
**** Also word is that "Beg For Me" will be the first single off album #4, A November release date is looking more and more liekly.
August 23, 1999 -- Korn will be performing at the forthcoming Net Aid Benefit Concert in New Jersey at Giants Stadium on October 9th, Shows are also scheduled to take place in London and Geneva on the same day. It is also possible that the event will be cybercast so stay tuned for more news on this.
*** Album #4 Rumors
-- normally we don't like to report rumors but people are asking for news on the album so here is some stuff thats going around:
** Chino Moreno of the Deftones will appear on the record as well as Wes Bordland of Limp Bizkit
** A new version of "Proud" will appear
** The Tuesday before Thanksgiving (Super Tuesday in the record industry) is the possible release date.
August 17, 1999 -- Well even though it seemed confirmed that they would, now it seems that Korn will not be performing at the MTV Video Awards although this could change, at least we can hope.
August 13, 1999 -- According to MTV Newslink, Korn has been approached to contribute a track to the upcoming "End of Days" soundtrack. The film stars Arnold Schwarzenagger,
August 3, 1999 -- It's confirmed now that Korn will perform at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards on September 9th.
August 1, 1999 -- Korn recently spoke to MTV backstage at Woodstock and Jonathan Davis and Fieldy confirmed that the new record is heavy and more like the first record. You can see a real video clip here.
***** Fox will be broadcasting a two hour Woodstock 99 special this Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. CST.
