Channel #Tripolis on dalnet is the first channel on IRC for north Lebanon generations, and exists for over 4 years. It provides a chat zone for people from all around the world, who are related to Lebanon, Tripoli, or wish to chat with such people. The channel is open for everybody who wishes to join. (As long as one follows the rules). Channel #Tripolis is a general topic chat channel. It is an English speaking channel, so people from all around the world can join and participate in the ongoing chats and debates. The prime time on the channel is during the lebanese evening hours, however, there are people talking in it at all times. In order to join the channel, you must connect to one of DALNET's servers , using an irc client, such as mIRC, and join channel #Tripolis (either by using the channels window, or just typing /join #Tripolis).
When joining the channel, remember that this channel is supposed to be a nice and quiet chat zone. Try to fit in nicely. Remember - No Flooding, Harassing, Cursing, Advertising or Abusing. It was supposed to be a family channel for Tripoli. After a period of time from friend to friend, rumors about this channel were spread, and new peoples found it.Now it's a Family Channel for all ages
