heres what happens. This guy wakes up in the early morning and agrees to open the store because anothe r guy is sick. everything seems to go wrong. He sits around and ponders everthiung under the sun. Dante, the main charactoer( the one who is working) was not the best character in this movie. Id even go as far as to say that the old guy who dies in the bathroom was a better acter. Maybe it was shitty acting, Maybe it was shitty scripting and dialiogue, but something about him made me cringe. anyways. most of the other characters have good points to make and seem to talk about the right ammount.
Whatelse, oh, this movie was in balck and white. that sucked. i hate the grainy feel to the movie. how about this kevin smith, I would love your movie if you did a clerks two, exactly the same but leave in the death of dante (the alternate ending), make him talk less, and shoot it in color with better sound, better makeup, and a higher budget.
This movie is in its prime, and probably always has been, but then again, it never was a huge hit in the box office, and they do only have one copy in the video store. I suggest you go and see this movie once, and get stoned first, it will be alot better.
