FAC EAS DOMINE DE MORTE TRANSIRE IN VITAM
Lord Jesus Christ, King of Glory,
free all the faithful departed
from the punishments of Hell and from the deep pit.
Free them from the mouth of the lion
lest Tartarus absorb them,
lest they be swallowed into the darkness,
but let Your standard-bearer, holy Michael,
bring them forth into the holy light
as You Once promised to Abraham and to his seed.
Sacrifices and prayers of praise to You, Lord, we bear up.
Receive them for those souls
which we commemorate this day.
Make them, Lord, to pass from death to life.
