Deliver me, O Lord, from eternal death
on that earth-shaking day
when the heavens and the earth will be moved
until you will come to judge the world through fire.

I am made to shake and am afraid
until the shattering will come and also the coming anger.

That day is a day of anger,
of calamity and misery,
a great day and very bitter.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
