It was late at night, the air was warm and soothing, the stars and moon shone brightly apon the lone grassy
field to which She knelt, whimpering softly as soft tears streamed down her cheeks, and all she could do, was
star up into the sky as her cheeks were stained and flushed, one hand clutched near her heart as it boomed in
her cheast, swirled her mind with emotions and thoughts. Lost..lonely, confused this one night, as she cried
out to the one thing she knew for sure, her love.

She had fallen in love with someone much younger then her self. inexperienced, curious. He cared for
everyone and every thing around him. wanted to touch, feel, show love for everything thing. He had told her
over and over again of his love for her, how he would do the impossible for her, help her, love her, die for
her. He bosted he was not like others of his age, smarter, wiser, stronger. He played, and spoke with her
often, done much for her to show his love.

They had a past, as most would with one so young. if she went away, hed play with others. unthinking.
needing. needing to fufill needs. it hurt. but she tried to be understanding. theyd argue, shed threaten him
from hurt shed leave for what he done, hed threaten more in return about putting up with her... then talked..
till he knew why she hurt.. and yet, it  happened a few times still. with words "Tied down" "want to learn" " i
do this for you" till finally she decided to go agasint her emotions,, feelings that normal women of her age
would put foward, she put aside. he knew it when she growled, cried, threatenend, and yet told him to
continue with what he wished. while she vowed she would never love another and do to him as he has her.

This night, she knelt there thinking, they had been through a lot together, she put up with much. so has he.
her heart riddled with guilt with what she wanted, selfishness, wishing him to her self. her eyes closed, head
lowered as she whimpered, wanting the pain to stop, the hurt. loving him more then her world, she was ready
to die for him.

Tired as she whimpered, lost in what to do. she started to pray to Anyone that would listen, whispering, as
the tears stained her cheeks, her palms as she burried her face into them. "please.. tell me there is another
way... i cannot leave.. but i know i have to.. i feel like a monster when i try to have him with me as others do
there lovers. guilty..  my heart feels like it would explode when i see him smile, it beats so fast.. but when i
see him hug another, kiss another from curiousness. explore..different things normal to his age.. his youth,, it
tares my heart apart that i cannot fullfll his needs alone.." she glanced to the stars again, her eyes pleading.
showing much patience, but,.. it grew thin.. she was tested over and over again.. as any mortal..any female..
she knew why the pain was there. and what others had told her, she avoided.. but she knew perhaps she had
to,, now her prayers plead for another way "please...  i do not with to leave him.. he might not come back..
im scared..alone.. ill die without him.. why must i... to..make him happy.."  she then gasped softly as she
felt a hand agsaint her shoulder, a soft light around her with a human shape, the old wise man she had met as
a child.., it said not a word, just gently cradled her and nodded gently, hugging as she coplapsed into a deep
sleep, and he whispered as he wrapped his ragged cloak around her. "he needs to grow up, child... and you..
little dreamer.. you try hard to understand people, even more so then most,, i came  to you when you were
little remember?.. you are the dreamer.. and my little dreamer.. sleep.."

By morning.. that place she had layed for the night,, ground stained lightly from tears, as he finally arrived,
whisteling, clueless of her predictment. came to the field to which she had laied, that spot, he found not her,
but the grass worn, and bright green from the life given from her tears, and a single rose, resting  there, a
small note tied around the stem ~i love you..~

  but...that is not the end..

The man fell to his knees a moment, at that moment, tears streamed his cheeks, his mind whirled that the
breeze of the stary night had taken her away, and he beged..pleaded to the stars, the air,. the life of the
forest and plants around him "please..." he screamed, nearly crushing the rose stem in his fist, causing it to
bleed down his palm. and at that moment,, that shead of blood and tears.. the old man walked up behind him,
placed a firm hand apon his shoulder and whispered "shes here, she never left..she beged for rest..to be able
to go on..I seen her heart. her love is true, she could never leave, not even in death.. so i gave her as she
asked. " he walked around him then, till he stood before him and his tired strong hands raised to the
boys, cuping the back of his hands til the rose rested in his palm and bloomed fully in the sunrise, the old man
smiled then and faded slwoly with the sunlight like a dream, but inside the rose. small, sound asleep like a
child was the woman, curled up in the satin petals, sound asleep...smiling.The boy smiled a little, wiped his tears and slwoly layed down. exhaused.. he fell asleep with the rose beside him..
when midday came, he awoke to find the rose had gone, tho she had remained, laying beside him, facing him and curled up as she were inside the rose. her knees up agasint his stomach, arms agaisnt his cheast, curled into a ball, with her  face, nuzzling, burring agasint him.. she smiled as he drew her closer, held her as they slept and dreamed together.

                                                                  Now.. awaken form the dream.
