| Episode Guide - 41-50 41. Sea Sick and Tired The kids returned to the same beach that housed the telephone booths only to find them destroyed. A false distress call from Shellmon almost got them, but the Digimon were able to save them, just barely. A resturant nearby proves to be another trap, but Mimi, Joe, Palmon and Gomamon avoid it and wind up fighting Scorpiomon, a flunky which the Digimon had to go to Ultimate just to beat him. Zudomon took to the sea, with MetalSeadramon following them. 42. Under Pressure Whamon returns to save the kids from MetalSeadramon and is able to lead them to safety for a while, but the Divermon, more servants of MetalSeadramon are on their trail, but thanks to some swift manuvering, the kids are able to elude the Divermon, yet are still chased by MetalSeadramon, who finally catches up to them, forcing Agumon to become WarGreymon and do battle. 43. Playing Games Whamon is hit by MetalSeadramon who is in turn destroyed by WarGreymon, leaving three Dark Masters left. Matt and Tai argue big time over Tai's selfishness, and this leads to Matt's crest losing its glow due to him snapping at Tai for TK had been kidnapped to play in Puppetmon's mansion, yet TK got out by tricking the Dark Master into making a friend, literally. Matt then leaves the group again to think things through. 44. Trash Day Matt explains to Gabumon why he left and Cherrymon, one of Puppetmon's servants appears and tells him that the only way Matt can be strong is if he defeats his greatest rival, Tai. The others face off with the Garbagemon, who turn out to be simple to defeat, yet when Matt returns, MetalGarurumon orders Agumon to become WarGreymon and wants to fight, yet Matt won't call him off. 45. The Ultimate Clash WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon lock horns and kick the daylights out of one another, and at the same time, Tai and Matt have another struggle, this one being their worst yet. The fight is stopped, when a mysterious entity borrows Kari's body and reveals the entire story to the DigiDestined, from how they were chosen, to the attack from Piedmon up to where they first arrived in the Digital World. Afterwards, Matt still leaves to figure things out, as do Mimi and Joe who don't want to fight anymore. 46. Etemon's Comeback Tour Mimi and Joe find an injured Orgemon among some bushes and while Joe, Gomamon and Palmon think they ought to run, Mimi says they should help him, which they do. Orgemon doesn't understand why they're being so nice despite what he's done to them, but is grateful for the help. The joy is broken when Puppetmon appears, followed by Etemon who has returned as MetalEtemon, his fully digivolved state. The two Megas clash it out, in ridiculous fashion before Puppetmon leaves to head for home, which the other kids have found. 47. Orgemon's Honor Leomon returns and reveals that can digivolve due to being exposed to the digivice, yet has no control over it for he hasn't learned how to master it. He becomes SaberLeomon and fights MetalEtemon only to be struck down by a blast of black lightning meant for Mimi. Zudomon appears and defeats MetalEtemon by cracking his armor, then SaberLeomon finishing him off....yet Leomon is also deleted due to the blow. Meanwhile, the kids fight Puppetmon and he even uses his mansion to destroy them, yet Matt and MetalGarurumon return long enough to destroy the second Dark Master. 48. My Sister's Keeper Kari becomes sick and the kids take her to a safe house within a Digital City. Tai and Izzy head out to find the medicine needed for her fever, and wind up being chased by Machinedramon's forces due to Izzy logging into the computer network. Tai also reveals some of his past relating to an illness that almost killed Kari due to his negligence. They manage to get the medicine and returned to the house only to have get blown up, yet the others had escaped as TK saw them coming. Machinedramon appeared and blasted another building down while they were in it causing them to split up. 49. The Crest of Light The illness infecting Kari gets broken and she, TK and Sora find WaruMonzaemon who is mistreating the Numemon who are powering the city above. Kari then glows in a mysterious light which gives the Digimon an increase in power, which is enough to defeat the bad teddy. Tai and Izzy meet up with Andromon who has returned to defeat Machinedramon who has come to fight them. Nothing seems to work, but when the Numemon are all killed, Kari's glow returns even brighter than before and allows Agumon to become WarGreymon and slices Machinedramon into pieces, destroying him. 50. Joe's Battle Tai's group arrives at the Dark Master's castle where Piedmon lurks, yet have to deal with LadyDevimon first and it turns into a catfight when Angewomon goes one on one with her. Mimi and Joe have amassed many allies to help fight Piedmon, yet Joe leaves to figure out why he is important to the team, like Matt did before him. Angewomon defeats LadyDevimon, and Piedmon comes out to fight, taking his time and Agumon becomes WarGreymon to prepare for the final battle. |
