| Episode Guide - 51-54 51. The Crest of Friendship Matt winds up in a cave where the darkness of his heart threatens to consume him, yet Gabumon is able to snap him out of it. Joe comes along and hands him his harmonica back. Sora and TK who were told to bring Matt back find them, yet Sora winds up in the same situation Matt was in and it took both and Joe to get her through it. WarGreymon on the other hand, was getting a major beating from Piedmon and even Tai was feeling the pain, yet the others returned in time for the final battle. 52. Piedmon's Last Jest WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon begin the battle with Piedmon who in turn, makes them into keychains, and does this with everyone except for TK, Patamon and Kari. They wind up on one of the castle's parapets and use a rope to climb to safety, yet Piedmon cuts them off, and TK's crest is finally able to glow with some help from Matt, whose keychain version of him was in TK's hands. Angemon becomes MagnaAngemon and not only is he able to defeat Piedmon's troops, but Piedmon himself, with thansk to WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon. 53. Apocalymon Now The Dark Masters are defeated, yet the force that created them isn't and now the DigiDestined must face this evil, their final enemy in the form of Apocalymon. He uses attacks from those they had defeated before and even is able to destroy their tags and crests and reverses their digivolutions. As a final insult, he deletes the kids Digimon, as well as the kids themselves and all of them become data. It is here ythey discover that the crest power wasn't in the actual crests but inside of them the whole time. They use this to return to the battlefield and are now new and improved DigiDestined. 54. The Fate of Two Worlds The DigiDestined battle against Apocalymon and are able to defeat him, yet uses his Total Annihilation to destroy everything, yet the kids' digivices manage to contain this blast, saving both worlds, however, because Apocalymon had appeared in the first place, the real world and the Digital World were now in sync and the kids had to say their goodbyes for their mission was now complete. It was a sad sight to see, but the kids had a feeling that they'd meet their partners one day in the near future. Littl did they know they would be right about it.... |
