Mimi is also very impatient, and this was proven when she and Izzy enetered a temple and found a massive black gear. Izzy focused all of his attention on the gear and made Mimi feel that she was being ignored, causing her to run away, but thanks to his knowledge, she got herself a guide that could see where she had to go. Later in the town of Pagumon, supposedly, Mimi wanted to have a bath, and it seemed like she had been kidnapped or something, but Tai found out the hard way that you should never look into the bathroom, especially if someone is taking a bath. She'd later find her crest of Sincerity atop a huge cactus which happened to have saved them from Kokatorimon, and Mimi realized that she had to be sincere with herslef and what she does. Of course, that backfired for later on, Tai and Joe found her inside a huge castle and she was referred to as the princess. She even wore a beautiful gown and crown to add to it. Joe stated that the Otamamon and Gekkomon had given the life that she had back home, just way overdid it. Mimi in truth used her means of getting what she wants to wind up in such a predicament and went as far as throwing her own friends and partner into the dungeons. A bad nightmare and comfort from Sora reminded Mimi of her crest and she apologized for her actions and sang the song that would awaken ShogunGekkomon, although it turned out he didn't want to be woken up. Returning to the real world helped Mimi to make her crest glow even further for she had to protect her parents and other people from Dark Tyranomon. Palmon almost didn't become Lillymon as Mimi said that she was in bad taste and that she had a reputation to maintain. Over the season, Mimi became more and more reliant on herself and less selfish, but she also had one more quality....she didn't like fighting at all. This came up during the clash between Tai and Matt. She said that she didn't want to fight anymore as someone always got hurt and this prevented Palmon from fighting for awhile. Eventually, she got over it and she and Joe gathered together a lot of their old friends that they had met over time and became a small army that was going to defeat the Dark Masters. The secret was that Mimi was too sweet and kind to say no to. After the true final battle, Mimi wanted to say goodbye to Palmon, but she hid from her saying that saying goodbye would only make things worse. Mimi wound up crying for she wasn't able to say her goodbyes before leaving, but Palmon came back just in time to say goodbye, resulting in one trip and Mimi losing that pink hat of hers.
