| Story It all began on a night just like any other, and it came from a single computer in the Kamiya family's apartment of the Highton View Terrace. The two children, Tai and Kari had received their very first Digimon Egg and by the morning, it hatched. During the day, they both learned how it was able to grow into its various stages, not to mention how it behaves. By the next night, it evolved into a large Agumon and took Kari for a ride on his back. Confused, the big Agumon walked about the city, not knowing where to go, but a truck proved to be an excellent targeting practice shot. Helicoptors were then flying overhead and Agumon fired at them, hitting the Terrace in various places, but then the second Digimon Egg appeared, this one housing a nastier Digimon, parrotmon. Agumon evolved again into Red Greymon and a battle ensued between them, with other children watching from their homes. Tai used Kari's whistle to give Red Greymon the support he needed to win and the two Digimon disappeared leaving behind many questions. It was at this time that the 8 chosen ones were selected for they had all witnessed the battle that had taken place, A scan had been done on them and that information was sent back to the Digital World. In a remote location, 8 Digivices were created along with 8 crests inside 8 tags; the crests had the information of the children locked into them and the tags and digivices were connected to 8 Digimon Eggs. These eggs each contained Digimon and each one had personalites that matched one of the chosen children. The Dark Masters, the rulers of the Digital World at that time had caught on to this plan of saving the Digital World from their evil attacked. Lead by Piedmon, strongest of the masters, many fell to his powerful onslaught. One man named Gennai was able to get the Digimon Eggs and Digivices out of his reach, but the crests fell into Piedmon's hands. Gennai was attacked in a aerial ambush, but one of the eggs that he was carrying fell out of his hands and landed in a forest. This egg contained a Nyaromon, who would later become Gatomon and wind up as a servant to another evil Digimon, until she remembered her past and reunited with her long lost partner. As for the other seven eggs, Gennai took care of each of them, until they hatched and waited for the day when the other children who had been chosen had arrived to the Digital World to achieve their destinies. The seven arrived and journey was about to begin.... |
